Our Story
L’Acadiane Equine Management was founded in 2013 by husband and wife team Vincent Bailleul and Katie Robicheaux.
About Katie & Vincent
Katie and Vincent have more than three decades of experience in the equine industry. They share a passion for teaching and developing young dressage and jumper talent, and they have the resumes to prove it.
Katie is a USDF Gold Medalist who has represented the United States in the Young Horse Dressage Championships in Verden, Germany. She spent four years in Holland training and riding under Anne van Olst of the world-renowned van Olst Horses. More recently, Katie has competed multiple horses on the FEI small tour in Wellington, and her young prospect, Laney, won USDF Fourth Level Horse of the Year in 2023. She continues to hone her craft with Bo Jena and Christopher Hickey.
Vincent began his career starting young horses in France, and has learned from the best, working under world-renowned showjumpers such as Rodrigo Pessoa and Mario Delauriers. He has excellent results at shows across Europe and the U.S. through 1.40, and has managed barns of up to 75 FEI-quality horses, including the famous Hickstead, winner of the “Best Horse in the World” award at the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games.
Both Katie and Vincent continue to actively compete. They have several young prospects in the dressage and jumpers with an eye towards Grand Prix competition.
