About Katie & Vincent

Katie and Vincent have more than three decades of experience in the equine industry. They share a passion for teaching and developing young dressage and jumper talent, and they have the resumes to prove it.

Katie is a USDF Gold Medalist who has represented the United States in the Young Horse Dressage Championships in Verden, Germany. She spent four years in Holland training under Anne van Olst, and continues to hone her craft with Morten Thomsen and Christopher Hickey. In 2017, Katie competed her Grand Prix prospect Avignon on the FEI small tour in Wellington. Vincent began his career starting young horses in France, and has worked under world-renowned showjumpers such as Eric Lamaze, Rodrigo Pessoa and Mario Delauriers. He has excellent results at shows across Europe and the U.S., and has managed barns of up to 75 FEI-quality horses, including Lamaze’s “horse of a lifetime,” Hickstead. Both Katie and Vincent continue to actively compete. They have several young prospects in the dressage and jumpers with an eye towards Grand Prix competition.

The Name

L’Acadians are French people who migrated to Louisiana. Vincent is French and Katie is from Louisiana. L’Acadiane Equine Management (LAEM) is a perfect name to represent their heritage and their shared passion for horses.
